Vincent Duffy

Vincent Duffy is a performance psychology consultant and founder of MetaNu. Vincent is the creator of MetaNu.’s exclusive programs, M.E. Analytics and Culture Calculator.

Vincent made it his main goal in life to help individuals become the best they can be. He began his journey at the age of 23 by developing a program that takes a positive proactive approach by combining Mental Wellness x Performance Psychology.

Vincent received a handful of scholarships to play collegiate baseball. In his senior year of high school, he suffered a terrible knee injury (ACL) that negatively affected his college recruiting. Vincent decided to accept a baseball scholarship from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. During his freshman year at Clarion, he developed the throwing “YIPS” which resulted in a redshirt season. He worked with a sports psychologist during the off-season, but the “YIPS” and ACL injury were too much for the coaching staff to believe in him. Vincent’s baseball career ended after his sophomore year, and a new era of life began.

After this difficult time in his life, Vincent decided he knew exactly what he wanted to pursue, the field of Psychology. Previous experiences guided his interest in Sports Psychology & Mental Health Counseling. Vincent aimed to help as many people as he could gain a competitive edge, overcome struggles, & navigate complex times. His purpose was for others to never feel alone as he once did.

Over the past three years, Vincent has worked with numerous people from all walks of life. The list includes professional athletes (NFL, NBA, MLB, CFL), corporate & healthcare professionals, student-athletes, business groups, and sports teams. He has expanded the program over the past two years to help mentally prepare college athletes for the NFL Draft through his Draft Prep Program.

Overall, Vincent loves to help people thrive and succeed on their journey through life!

Michael McKenry

Nicknamed “The Fort”- I am a proud alumni of Farragut High School in Knoxville, TN and played 3 seasons of baseball at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. While at MTSU I studied Exercise Science.

The next twelve seasons between 2006-2017 were spent following my dream of playing professional baseball.

My Major League Baseball debut was in 2010 with the Colorado Rockies. I played thereafter at the MLB level with the Pittsburgh Pirates (2011-2013), Colorado Rockies (2014-2015), and St. Louis Cardinals (2016) along with several Minor League teams. It was an honor to play the game of baseball for a living!

In early 2018, I chose to switch gears and retire from the athlete’s side of baseball. Since then, I have been the Pre/Post game analyst on AT&T Sportsnet for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In addition, I am helping develop an app called TailTrax with a team of pet lovers and entrepreneurs.

My passion for life is rooted in my deep faith in Christ, my wife Jaclyn, and our dog Griffin.

Alex Presley

Alex Presley is a former Major League Baseball player and MetaNu. team member.

A three-sport standout at Neville High School in Monroe, Louisiana, Alex earned a baseball scholarship to the University of Mississippi.

After a successful collegiate career, he was selected in the Major League Baseball Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates and pursued his dream of playing in the Major Leagues. Alex played professional baseball for twelve years, including eight seasons in the Major Leagues.

In 2010, he was named Minor League Player of the Year for the Pirates while getting his first taste of the Majors in the same year. Alex saw Major League action with five different teams, including the Pirates, Twins, Astros, Brewers, and Tigers.

After retiring from baseball in 2019, Alex realized his passion to help people live an enriched life by improving their mental wellbeing, something he struggled with during his playing career.

Baseball is known for having one of the most grueling and mentally challenging seasons in sports. Alex gained valuable experience navigating through seasons filled with failures and successes, seeking guidance from professionals in the sports psychology, teammates, and coaches.

He enjoys sharing his story with others and using his experiences as his testimony to help others.
